Shopping around flea markets, yard sales and antique shops can be great fun! There's a thrill about the hunting and gathering and finding items... especially on the cheap! I especially love this idea because it's easy and inexpensive!

What more can I say? J'adore!

The way items are arranged on a wall can also be part of the fun and design. Too often I might think of just hanging items in a straight horizontal alignment etc. Uh, but, wow... How fab is the below arrangement?

Don't have already have a collection of items? Look no further than around your house for items you already own! Seriously...Take the scarf you bought at a consignment shop? That one with the wild colors and pattern that you just love to look at but can never figure out how to wear. Frame it! Voila!

For a music lover, the below idea is just tops! Love, love, love!

My friend, traveling the world from each city brings a plate as a souvenir. In his collection of more than 300 pieces! Interesting tradition.
I love this! The doilies on black look very cool and I really like the gold frames idea, thanks for sharing!
Everything here is so lovely and beautiful!
Nice post on some wall decorations. Maybe people will find it inspiring to complete their room design. Thank you for posting.
These are great inspirations you have here. It is really lovely. I hope I can make my place this beautiful.
It's funny to see the collection of classical music sheets...Last year I bought two of them from the twenties -because the cover was amazing- and I'm wondering what to do with them since then.
Now, I think I should start a collection and decorate a wall! :D
Really cool idea.
Thanks.
Ciao.
Like the art ideas an all white room is crisp, bright and fresh but I believe it does need some colour wether it be subtle or bold thaks for sharing
Some very creative ideas here, they look good!

Thanks for posting these awesome interior desing photos. Especially love the photo of the plates on the wall, gorgeous!
Great to see so many different ideas for walls, rather than just plain old pictures.
Especially liking the plates!
Using doilies like this is an amazing idea - not only do they look artistic, they also don't harm anyone's budget. My fav photo is the first one in black and white! It's got plenty of style!
I hope I can make my place this beautiful.
I love all these ideas - they are simple and easy to do yourself but would make a huge difference in my apartment! Thank you so much!!
I am loving these looks. So original. I especially like the doilies, they look great on that wall. And how nice that they can be used in such an inspiring way instead of being shut away in a drawer. Isn't it funny how during the 80's and 90's we spent our time clearing away adornments from walls, floors and rooms to create the ultimate chic minimalist look, and things are going full circle and we are returning to adorning our homes with ornaments we can collect with other objects of interest.
Thanks for sharing, Fleur.
These are some awesome ideas..especially love the frames within frames!
